Welcome to Milele Chikasa Anana Elementary School! We are excited to work with you and your students this school year.

At Anana Elementary School, we co-create spaces where every child is fully able to be themselves, express themselves, and love themselves every day. We will do this by centering the voices and experiences of Black and Brown youth, families, and staff. We continue to focus on literacy through the implementation of two new, rigorous, standards aligned curriculums: Benchmark and EL. Through both of these resources, students will engage in hands-on, collaborative learning with multiple ways to demonstrate their learning and understanding. We are excited to show off all their brilliance through academic showcases.

The entire Anana Elementary staff looks forward to establishing a strong educational partnership with you for the benefit of your child. We believe it is vital that the home/school link be strong so that your child will have every opportunity to be a successful learner. Clear communication between home and school is a necessary part of that link.

Your children’s safety and well-being is our highest priority. We understand that educating your students is a big responsibility and we take it very seriously. We invite you to partner with us, by reading with your children at home, volunteering at Anana, visiting the classroom, reaching out to your child’s teachers, or serving the community. Together we are strong!
